Component: kiba-dock I think.
Version: not sure followed the guide here.

This is my first install of kiba-dock.  I typed "kiba-dock" in the terminal and while the dock started I got a bunch of errors in terminal (which I will relate to you below) and what looks like a part of the dock in the bottom left corner.  The dock fragment in the corner cannot be moved or add launchers to it and is quite annoying.  The errors I got are as follows:

Code:
ramy@Ramy-UbuntuPC:~$ cd kiba-dock
ramy@Ramy-UbuntuPC:~/kiba-dock$ kiba-dock

Segmentation fault (core dumped)

As a side note, when I try to start kiba-dock with my 3rd party gtk theme I get the following error:

Code:
ramy@Ramy-UbuntuPC:~/kiba-dock$ kiba-dock
/home/ramy/.themes/zniavre/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:77: error: unexpected identifier `reliefstyle', expected character `}'

Any ideas?

Hi

I was getting the same error but that was AFTER I had played around with the settings.

** (kiba-gnome-applet-plugin:30475): WARNING **: Error (plugin.c @ line 289):

Failed to load plugin at '/usr/local/lib/kiba-dock/dock_plugins/liblauncher.so': The plugin can only be loaded once!

What worked for me was going to Kiba-dock settings editor and deleting the .xml files that were created for the New Docks.

Change Dock > Choose the .xml file > open> and then Remove Dock. Do that for the all the files there EXCEPT "default_dock.xml" and "global.xml".

It worked for me.. might work for you too.

Ciao
