Hi, everyone.

I'm a Ubuntu 7.10 AMD64 Gutsy user.

So, i installed Kiba like shown here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=554127

Everything worked fine. I did the installation well, and was able to start Kiba, and taste some Akamaru effects as well.

But there's still some problems that i just can't get rid off:

- The Kiba crashes everytime I try to use a separator;
- When I enable GMenu, I don't see it icon on dock;
- It's totally impossible to add a icon by drag'n'drop from Desktop; I have to right click on dock, create launcher, etc, etc.
- The objects tray (I think that is this name in english) doesn't appear too, when I activate it;
- I'm getting some errors on installing Ephy Extensions:
Code:
./configure: line 21351: GNOME_COMMON_INIT: command not found
./configure: line 21352: GNOME_DEBUG_CHECK: command not found
./configure: line 21353: syntax error near unexpected token `maximum'
./configure: line 21353: `GNOME_COMPILE_WARNINGS(maximum)'

So... It's just Kiba bugs on Gutsy, or I need  to do something else?

Thanks everybody.

Regards,

Hilder Santos

maybe the following for gmenu
sudo apt-get install libgnome-menu-dev
it might have come up as a compile time error

to get the tray you need to remove the notification area from your panel first and restart the dock. you can only have one panel at a time

try dragging a launcher off your ubuntu main menu, maybe that will work better

ephy extension, and seperator, i cant help
